Rachael Mackenzie Bell
Age: approx. 3 minutes Just after dad cut the cord
Age: approx. 10 minutes In the warmer beside the bed. She has just been cleaned up and evaluated. She received a score of 9 and 9 on her Apgar test.
Judy is finally smiling again, here with our doctor, Dr. Villanueva.. Rachael was born as a natural vaginal birth. No pain medication. Petosin was administered at 1:30pm to help strengthen the contractions.
Here she is after she had been moved upstairs to the nursery. She has been bathed and measured.

11 days old. Starting to see her eyes more often now.
First real bath in the her tub. 19 days old
Same bath, not looking at all like a drowned rat.
3 weeks old
Age: 1 month Lying in the rocking chair that Richard's mother rocked him in as a child.
Crashed after a long day. This was after our first day away from her. My (Richard's) Mom and Jerry came out to watch her for us so that we could go sailing for the day. THANKS!!!! It won't be long before she can go along.
Age: 6 weeks I believe that she has gotten over her initial weight loss.
Age: 2 months Definately got the smile goin' on. She has started to have longer awake times and is typically in a good mood. Until she gets hungry, that is.
Age: 2 months

Age: 11 weeks Feeling good about the fresh air. That is a "cloth diaper" that she is wearing. Multiple layers of cotton on the inside with a poly-coated vinyl outer. They are neat!
Age: 14 weeks "Ain't I cute"
Age: 14 weeks Ready for the 4th of July with her new friend Zachary from Build a Bear.
Age: 17 weeks Starting to prop up on my elbows.
Age: 18 weeks "You want me to, what??!!"
Age: 19 weeks Eating is definately a high point in Rachael's day.
Age: 21 weeks A Braves fan just like Grandma and Papa.
Age: 22 weeks She loves being "Nekkid".
Age: 26 weeks
Taking a bath "by herself". She loves playing with the tub toys.
Age: 31 weeks First time holding the sippy cup by herself
Age: 7 months (31 weeks)
Rachael has discovered a new toy. Paper!!!

She wasn't real sure who this fat old man with the funny outfit was. But, she did pretty well without much fussing.
